The Kuda Leather-Flex Saddle Range
The current Leather-Flex saddle range includes three different models designed around the innovative Kuda Leather-Flex tree. All saddles are designed with a rigid pommel and cantle to provide the correct support and stability across the shoulders and back. Between the two rigid structures there is a combination of leather and foam allowing the saddle to accurately conform to the horse's back without creating pressure points. A wide and high gullet keeps the spine free from contact and wide wool felted pads help to distribute the weight evenly on the muscles either side of the spine. This design combines the flexibility of a treeless saddle with the stability of a traditional treed saddle.
Originally designed for the Paso Fino, a gaited horse, the saddles provide exceptional freedom in the shoulder allowing these horses which use a lot of vertical shoulder movement to move more freely and expressively. The saddles are now designed with narrow, medium and wide gullets to accommodate different breeds of horse.
